Depeche Mode is one reference in gothic music.

The 3 main characters in this group are :

• Dave Gahan the lead-vocals
• Martin Gore at keyboards, guitar
• Andy Fletcher at keyboards and bass guitar

Started in the 80's their best songs were composed during this period including the album Violator and Black Celebration, we can notice that the darkest songs are in these albums.
One of the particularity of Dépêche Mode is that they are still on stage at the moment by releasing an album every 4 years with touring.
